Forward Wichita Falls and the Chamber partnered with local sponsors to fund the campaign, aiming to boost pride and visibility for the two major institutions that anchor the city’s economy and identity.

Wichita Falls ISD names Devon Dorris new Athletic Director (newschannel6now.com) — Wichita Falls ISD has hired longtime Azle coach Devon Dorris as its new athletic director, making him the seventh AD in district history. Dorris brings 23 seasons of experience, including 16 years as Azle’s head football coach, and will now oversee athletics across WFISD campuses following Grant Freeman’s tenure from 2023 to 2025.
