High School Football Playoffs: Who Will College Park Play?
College Park advanced to the area round of the Class 6A football playoffs. Who will the Cavaliers play in the second round?
THE WOODLANDS, TX — College Park High School advanced to the second round of the the UIL Class 6A Division II football playoffs last week.
College Park (8-3) advanced to the playoffs out of District 13-6A and defeated Nimitz 42-0 in the bi-district round. The Cavaliers will face Bridgeland (9-2) in the area round at Woodforest Bank Stadium at 7 p.m. Friday.
The winner of Friday's game will play the winner of Tyler Legacy and Cedar Hill in the regional round.

- No. 5 Rockwall Heath vs. Temple
- Willis vs. Tomball
Predictions: Three of Dave Campbell's experts picked Heath to get out of Region II, while Greg Tepper picked Cy Park, which was upset by Tomball in the first round last week.
College Park historical perspective: The Cavaliers' shutout win over Nimitz was the program's first playoff victory since the school opened in 2006. College Park was 0-6 in the playoffs prior to last week. The Cavaliers followed up their first district title in 2020 with a runner-up finish in 13-6A this season.
