Montgomery County Fire Marshal Investigating Woodlands Tree House Fire

The Woodlands, TX -- The Montgomery County Fire Marshal is investigating a fire that destroyed an structure built in a wooded area near the intersection of Kuykendahl Road and FM 1488.

The structure, which was most likely used by teenagers, had no electricity and was littered with fireworks and tiki torches. The Woodlands Fire Department dispatched firefighters to the area around 10:40 p.m., but because of the location the fire was difficult to access.

Once they gained access, firefighters were able to get the blaze under control relatively quickly. Although no injuries were reported, investigators also have no witnesses.
