Plan Ahead To Avoid Traffic Headaches For The Woodlands Ironman

More than 3,000 registered participants and 4,000 community volunteers will be participating in this weekend event.

THE WOODLANDS, TX– Traffic issues will likely be on the horizon this weekend in The Woodlands when the annual Memorial Hermann Ironman North American Championship Texas Triathlon kicks off on Saturday.

More than 3,000 registered participants and 4,000 community volunteers will be participating in this weekend event.

The competition begins at 5:30 a.m. and all residents are advised to be aware of the traffic management plan in effect on race day.

Residents in The Woodlands, as well as visitors can expect traffic delays in various parts of the area throughout the day Saturday.
