SPRING, TX — Some schools in Spring will be getting new sidewalks, courtesy of the Harris County Precinct 1 Commissioner's Office. The time frame for the construction work is still pretty nebulous, it's possible the concrete could begin flowing as soon as the end of the summer.
Since most of Spring ISD is located in Harris County Precinct 4, the improvements will only be done at a few of the district's schools.

Since the first day of school for Spring ISD is Aug. 22, it is highly unlikely that much of the work will be done before the school year starts. Also if the money is there, some schools in need of street lights and safety features could also be upgraded.
