Tomball Approves Resolution For May 4 Council Election

Mayor Gretchen Fagan and Councilman Chad Degges are currently running unopposed for the Tomball City Elections.

TOMBALL, TX — Election season is right around the corner and that means the clock is ticking for Tomball residents who have a desire to run for a spot on the Tomball City Council.

The Tomball City Council approved a resolution on Jan. 7 ordering city elections for May 2019. Anyone who wishes to sign up have until Feb. 15, 2019 at 5 p.m. to file for a place on the ballot.

Mayor Gretchen Fagan who has served the city for many years is running for a new mayoral term. Councilman Chad Degges, who was elected in 2014, is running for his third two-year term.

Early Voting will be held April 22-26 and April 29-30, 2019. Election Day will be held on May 4, 2019 with polls open between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.

Applications can be obtained and filed at the Tomball City Secretary’s Office, located at 401 Market Street in Tomball.
