Tomball Mom Arrested After Child Found With Cigarette Burns
Cybil Menard, 19, is accused of refusing to have her child treated for days old cigarette burns.

TOMBALL, TX — A Tomball woman was arrested and charged with injury to a child, after telling police she know about the injuries, investigators said. Deputy constables were called to a home in the 12300 block of Northpointe Ridge in northwest Harris County on Saturday for a welfare concern.
A witness told deputies that a 1-year-old child inside the home had second degree burns on his left arm that were left untreated for several days.
Deputies spoke with the mother, identified as Cybil Menard, who said she was aware of the cigarette burn on her child's arm.

Menard allegedly admitted the child had been burned with cigarettes before and she has always refused medical treatment.
