Woodlands Kids Triathlon Raises $12k for YMCA
A triathlon in The Woodlands raised $12,000 for the YMCA.
THE WOODLANDS, TX — The YMCA Kids Triathlon had 230 competitors and raised $12,000, a new record for fundraising.
The funds will be used for various operating costs incurred by the YMCA, including financial assistance for families and sports activities for Montgomery County residents.
Texas Children's Hospital of The Woodlands helped produce the event and handed out ice packets after the race to keep the children cool.
