THE WOODLANDS, TEXAS (February 10, 2021) – The Spring Arts in the Park event is set for Saturday, March 12, 2022, from 2 to 6 p.m. at Northshore Park, located at 2505 Lake Woodlands Drive in The Woodlands, TX 77381.

This year, the Youth Art Contest returns. Young artist submissions will be accepted until 5 p.m. on March 7, 2022, and the entry form can be found on the Township website at www.thewoodlandstownship-tx.gov/artsinthepark.
The Youth Art Contest is open to artists 18 years and under and includes three age categories: 7 years and younger, 8 to 12 years and 13 to 18 years. Submissions will be on display at the event. First, second and third place winners from each category will be recognized on stage during the event.

The theme of this year’s art contest is Favorite Place to Visit in The Woodlands. With the Texas TreeVentures aerial adventure course, two recreation centers, two boat houses and more than 150 parks in the community, there is plenty of adventure to inspire a variety of artist interpretations.
Arts in the Park is a free, family-friendly event that celebrates art, music and drama in the local community. The event will feature live entertainment and local vendors selling original artwork. Coolers, picnic baskets, blankets and lawn chairs are permitted. Glass is prohibited.
