• Woodway trash bills jump 30% per year after landfill relocates (kwtx.com) — Woodway residents should prepare for their monthly trash bill to rise from $25 to about $33 next spring, after the city’s landfill service moved much farther away to Axtell. City council chose a 30% rate hike that keeps recycling pickup every other week, rejecting a steeper increase that would have added weekly recycling, though leaders say that upgrade could still happen later.
