• Yoakum Bulldogs chase first state championship against Grandview Zebras (crossroadstoday.com) — Yoakum fans have a huge week ahead as the Bulldogs head into Thursday’s Class 3A Division I state championship game after a 71–27 semifinal rout of Llano. Led by explosive rushing performances from Jace Morales, Germarquis Robinson, and X’Zavier Barnett, Yoakum will kick off against Grandview at 3 p.m. with a real shot at the program’s first-ever state title.
