Kindness shows up in all kinds of ways — a quick favor, a generous gesture or simply looking out for someone who needs it. In 2026, Patch and T-Mobile are celebrating those moments through Good Deeds, Great Communities, our nationwide initiative to highlight acts of kindness all across the country.

Here’s where you come in.

Click here to share a recent act of kindness that helped brighten someone’s day. It might be something you did yourself, or something you witnessed someone else do — big, like organizing a fundraiser or helping improve a local space, or simple, such as checking on an older neighbor or offering support when it was needed. If you’re submitting a kind act done by someone else, please be sure you have their permission before sharing their story.

When you submit a good deed, you’ll also tell us your state and zip code. That information powers our real-time leaderboard, updated throughout the submission period, so you can see where your community stands and encourage others to join in. You’re welcome to submit more than one act of kindness, helping showcase the many ways people in your community support one another.

The submission period ends on March 31, 2026, so don’t wait too long to share your good deeds! At the end of the submission period, Patch will select one community, at Patch's discretion, and make a charitable donation of $500 to a local nonprofit.

Submit your good deed here, and spread the word so others in your community can submit theirs, too. Patch may select your good deed to include in an article about the Good Deeds, Great Communities project.

Leaderboard results are for engagement purposes only. Any donation associated with the project will be made by Patch, and the recipient will be determined by Patch.
