WILMINGTON, DE — Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden said the wildfires that have ravaged the west coast states of California, Oregon and Washington in recent days will only get worse if President Donald Trump wins a second term in the upcoming Nov. 3 election. Biden said Trump has "no interest in meeting this moment" during a Monday afternoon address from Wilmington, Delaware, the Washington Post reports.

Biden called Trump a "climate arsonist" in the speech. He said climate change is worsening, and it's making wildfires and other natural disasters ever more dangerous.

"The unrelenting impact of climate change affects every single, solitary one of us," Biden said.
