Bill Shine Joining White House
The former Fox News executive's appointment to the White House was announced on Thursday.

Bill Shine, the former Fox News executive who resigned from the company last year, is joining the White House, according to a statement.
Shine, who was given the position of co-president of Fox News after former chairman and founder Roger Ailes was ousted in a sexual harassment scandal, will serve as assistant to the president and deputy chief of staff for communications. According to CNN, after Ailes left Fox, Shine was named in multiple lawsuits and accused of mishandling the allegations against Ailes.
"He brings over two decades of television programming, communications, and management experience to the role," the White House said in a statement. "Previously, Mr. Shine served as Co-President of Fox News Channel and Fox Business Network."
