Highly Anticipated IG Report Will Criticize Comey, Lynch: CNN
The report from the Department of Justice's inspector general is expected to be released June 14.

A report from the Department of Justice's inspector general is expected to criticize former FBI Director James Comey in the handling of the Hillary Clinton email probe, CNN reports, citing sources familiar with the matter. Two events that are of particular focus in the report, according to CNN, include Comey's decision to announce in July 2016 that "no reasonable prosecutor" would recommend charges against Clinton and his decision to inform Congress that agents had found additional emails related to the probe not long before the November 2016 presidential election.
Sources cautioned to CNN that the report is not yet final. CNN also reports that the IG report is critical of former Attorney General Loretta Lynch as well though it was not clear what exactly the report would say regarding Lynch.
Another source told the news channel the report will also criticize former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe for the lag in finding additional emails related to the Clinton investigation (late September 2016) and when the department obtained a search warrant (October 2016).
