Ivanka Trump's Fashion Brand Is Shutting Down

Ivanka Trump is shutting down her namesake fashion brand, The Wall Street Journal reports. After joining the White House as a senior adviser, Trump stepped down from her role at the fashion brand and the Trump Organization.

According to the Journal, Trump said on Tuesday she was uncertain whether she would return to retail once she leaves Washington.

“After 17 months in Washington, I do not know when or if I will ever return to the business, but I do know that my focus for the foreseeable future will be the work I am doing here in Washington,” Trump said, per the Journal. “So making this decision now is the only fair outcome for my team and partners.”
