The accusation is a sign of the growing tensions between the United States and North Korea.

The CIA has not commented on the matter, but the accusation is the latest development in the growing tensions between the United States and North Korea. Lawmakers in the House of Representatives voted Thursday to increase sanctions on the country by a vote of 419 to 1, a response to North Korea's continued development of long-range intercontinental missiles.(For more information on this and other political stories, subscribe to the White House Patch for daily newsletters and breaking news alerts.)
