Seth Meyers' Closer Look: Steve Bannon Disproves Whites Are 'Master Race'

Embattled White House chief strategist Steve Bannon was a subject of Seth Meyers' "A Closer Look" segment Thursday night. He riffed on Bannon's cynical interview earlier in the week, when he said, “The Democrats, the longer they talk about identity politics, I got ’em. I want them to talk about racism every day. If the left is focused on race and identity, and we go with economic nationalism, we can crush the Democrats.”

Bannon, who had called his previous venture Breitbart News "the platform of the alt-right," has been tied to white nationalism. Meyers, who took a few shots at Bannon's physical appearance, quipped, "He disproves white people are a master race."
