Priebus and Bannon, two of Trump's top advisers, spoke together at the conference in the afternoon. The dual appearance appeared designed to quell rumors that the men represent competing factions with the administration. Asked what the biggest misconception was about the pair, Priebus responded, "Everything that you're reading."
The conference is was held at the Gaylord National Resort and Convention center in Maryland.
During her talk at the convention, Conway said she had difficulty calling herself a "feminist."
DeVos, Education secretary, appeared on stage for a policy discussion. She introduced herself as "the first person to tell Bernie Sanders to his face that there's no such thing as a free lunch."
Later, DeVos was asked about the Obama-era guidelines on Title IX's protection of transgender students that her department revoked Wednesday night. She cited the previous president's guidance as an example of "overreach."
Richard Spencer, a leader of the controversial alt-right and white supremacist, also showed up at the conference, highlighting fractures in the conservative movement. Dan Schneider, executive director of the American Conservative Union, denounced the alt-right on stage at CPAC.
"There is a sinister organization that is trying to worm its way into our ranks and we must not be duped," he said. "Just a few years ago, this hate-filled left-wing fascist group hijacked the very term 'alt-right.' That term has been used for a long time in a very good and normal way."
Spencer told reporters that he coined the term "alt-right" and did not hijack it. He was later kicked out of the conference center.
Ken Bone, who first became famous after appearing in a town hall presidential debate for undecided voters with Hillary Clinton and Trump, also made an appearance at the conference.
