Watch Replay: Sean Spicer Responds To Questions About 'Unmasking' Claims, Jared Kushner
He also discussed the donation of President Trump's salary.

WASHINGTON, DC — White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer delivered a televised press briefing Monday afternoon, discussing briefly a recent report that Susan Rice asked for certain associates of the president to be "unmasked" and responding to questions about Jared Kushner's responsibilities in the administration.
At the same time, the Senate continued to push Judge Neil Gorsuch through the confirmation process on his road to becoming a justice on the Supreme Court. (For more information on this and other political stories, subscribe to the White House Patch for daily newsletters and breaking news alerts.)
At the opening of the briefing, Spicer announced that Trump will be donating his presidential salary to the National Park Service. Trump had previously promised that he would donate his salary and had asked the press to help him decide where the funds should go.

He noted that it was surprisingly difficult to find a part of the government that could accept donations.
Later, when Spicer was asked if Trump would help cover the security costs incurred by his frequent travels, particularly to Mar-a-Lago, the press secretary pointed to the donation of his salary and said, "At what point does he do enough?"

Spicer praised the Senate Judiciary Committee for approving Gorsuch for a full Senate vote but said he was disappointed that Democrats plan to filibuster the nomination.
Asked whether the president's son-in-law, Jared Kushner, can handle the large portfolio he's been assigned, which includes establishing peace in the Middle East and overhauling the government, Spicer said Kushner had a team to help him handle his responsibilities.
Spicer said he would not answer questions about whether Trump discussed human rights abuses in Egypt with the Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, who visited the White House Monday.
Referring to the recent Bloomberg report that President Obama's National Security Advisor Susan Rice requested unmasking of Trump associates, Spicer said he wouldn't comment much on the substance of the report. But even as two reporters asked him about the report, the press secretary said, curiously, that he was surprised the press wasn't interested in the story.
As the press secretary left podium much earlier than normal, a reporter called out "Don't you like us no more?"
