Together, we’ll listen intently for the calls of Great Horned or Barred Owls, apex predators who are often vocal this time of year as their nesting season approaches. Join us for a Sanctuary Soulful Saturday with our very first Qigong session! Rooted in ancient Chinese healing traditions, Qigong is a mindful self-care practice that weaves together slow, flowing movements, relaxed breathing, meditation, and soothing self-massage to awaken and balance the body’s natural energy.
In this beginner-friendly class, you’ll learn the foundations of a simple, sustainable Qigong practice designed to nourish both body and spirit. Together, we’ll explore gentle movement, self-acupressure, lymphatic massage to support immune health, guided meditation, and sound healing for deep vibrational relaxation and restoration.
Practices are accessible to all adult ages with options to participate standing or seated in a chair. You’ll leave with empowering tools you can use anytime to reduce stress, lift your mood, improve balance, support restful sleep, and cultivate a deeper sense of well-being.

Our Sanctuary Soulful Saturday series continues with a beautiful Yoga Nidra experience sure to awaken creativity, rejuvenate the spirit and spark inspiration for all! As the Snow Moon rises in the quiet heart of winter, it invites us to soften, slow down, and listen for the subtle whispers of creativity waiting to emerge.
This nourishing morning gathering weaves gentle somatic movement, a deeply restorative Yoga Nidra practice, and reflective journaling or intuitive drawing to release stagnant energy, quiet the mind, and open space for inspired creation. Through rest and reflection, we’ll dissolve creative blocks, awaken imagination, and set intentions that support what’s ready to be born…whether clearly defined or still taking shape.

Sip Catherine’s Butterfly Tea and enjoy sweet treats and tea sandwiches as you settle into a cozy afternoon of making and giving. Guided by Kathy from ArtSmart Studio, guests will create a one-of-a-kind zigzag keepsake love book, using beautiful papers, textures, and adornments. Each handmade book becomes a heartfelt expression of love and no two will be alike, just like the relationships we cherish.
To complete the experience, we’ll turn our attention to nature by creating a heart-shaped suet treat for the birds.
