Amanda Duckworth, Neighbor

An active outdoorsy girl I have traveled much in my life; 20 yrs ago my husband and I set down roots in northwestern Vermont. We have 2 amazing daughters that share our love for adventure, exploring, and culture (and a Spanish exchange daughter as well!). I'm grounded with our home of many pets that keep us busy.

In my down time, my husband and I support/ cheer on our girls in all their endeavors. I stay busy with year-round activities that keep me moving such as running, kayaking (most water sports), and winter snow fun - snowboarding. I've challenged myself and picked up some of these sport hobbies a bit later in life (like the ladies' hockey group and snowboarding) and have had an absolute blast.

Professionally, I 'm a physical therapist and work in my local school system primarily with special education. I reap the benefits of guiding kids to participate and succeed!! I'm typically on-the-move throughout the day carrying lots of equipment so fitness and health are cornerstones to my being (vegetarian of more than 35 years). That's me!
