Overview
Come on by BevCam Downtown, 261 Cabot St, for a fun session with BevCam Education Manager Amanda Hurley. Learn how to set up for a podcast—from equipment and recording to producing and hosting. Then, jump into a live podcast experience where you’ll have the chance to ask questions, try the mic yourself, and chat about your interests and podcasting ideas. Whether you're a seasoned podcaster or completely new, this workshop is for anyone exploring the ins and outs of podcasting. Get ready to share your voice with the world! P.S. This will be done as a video podcast and will air on the channel, YouTube, and all the podcast platforms!
Tickets are free for BevCam members. (only $49/year) $20 for non-members.

 About Amanda -BevCam Education Manager
Amanda Hurley is the Education Manager at BevCam and the creator and host of her personal podcast, I Brought You Into This World, as well as host of BevCam's podcast for youth, BevCam Kids (please reach out if your kids are interested!). Amanda is a storyteller at heart, with a BA in Dramatic Arts and a background working with kids. In 2020, looking to make a career shift, she completed a certificate program in Broadcast Media and soon found herself working at Urban Media Arts as an Education Coordinator. Amanda stayed in this role for three years and enjoyed working with the community while doing creative work. Shortly after moving to Beverly, she landed this role at BevCam. Amanda loves the arts and culture here in Beverly and is excited to take on this new role! When not working, her favorite activities are binge-watching her favorite shows, writing and performing, and snuggling her twins, Annabelle and Rosalie.
