I grew up in West De Pere, Wisconsin, a suburb just outside of Green Bay. While attending the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee for journalism, I dived into various media outlets through internships at print newspapers, Milwaukee Public Radio and WISN-TV. I later freelanced for Patch in Milwaukee while working part time at the TV station post-internship.
