Angela is a journalist with a strong passion for storytelling and producing compelling multimedia content.
Determined to pursue a career in journalism from the beginning of her undergraduate studies at Washington State University, Angela has four years of experience in television, and has worked in various newsrooms as both a reporter and a producer in the State of Washington, Missouri, and Washington, DC. In August 2010, Angela received her master's degree from the University of Missouri School of Journalism.
Prior to joining Patch in 2010 as one of the founding editors, she worked with CNN in Washington, DC on the newsgathering frontline, and spent two years working as a reporter and newscast producer for KOMU 8 TV - the NBC Affiliate in Columbia, Missouri, and an anchor and producer for online/mobile news startup Newsy.com.
