Minnetonka Public Schools Foundation Awards $65,000 in Grants
Since its inception in 1999, the Teacher Grant Program has provided over $600,000 in grants for classroom initiatives and special projects.

I have been an editor for Patch since August 2011.
My love for journalism began in the fourth grade when I started a newspaper, the St. Bernard Gazette, at school. We published a couple of issues before my staff decided they didn't want to stay inside for recess to work on it anymore.
I graduated from St. Cloud State University with a degree in mass communications, print journalism sequence, and a minor in communication studies. I have one child: a seven-year-old named Faith who is in second grade. She loves school and figure skating.
Before coming to Patch, I was the editor of two weekly newspapers in MN. I spent two years as the editor of the Pine City Pioneer in Pine City before my company moved me to Cambridge to edit the Isanti-Chisago County Star for another two years.
