Local American Legion, VFW Hosting Veterans Community Bingo Night
The Aug. 16 event plans to raise funds for veteran and youth programs.

Craig was raised in the Twin Cities and spent a great deal of his childhood on the hockey rink. He attended Columbia College in Chicago, where he earned a B.A. in film studies in 2003. He has worked at several newspapers as a sports and features writer, including the Daily Mining Gazette in Michigan and the Antelope Valley Press in Palmdale. Before coming to Patch, he worked at Internet Broadcasting Systems, which manages around 75 television news Web sites. There he edited national news and wrote features.
He started at Patch in 2010 and served as the local editor of North Hollywood-Toluca Lake Patch for two years. Since August of 2012 he has served Patch as an Associate Regional Editor for numerous sites in Los Angeles County, including the San Fernando Valley and San Gabriel Valley areas.
