Contra dancing is a fun, easy-to-learn style of social dance in a supportive, inter-generational, inclusive community. It’s the cool cousin to square dancing—with hot bands. A hot band is exactly what we have for this dance with Bosnick &amp; Bittel playing with Donna Hunt calling.
If you are new to contra dancing, come for our evening dance on any first and third Saturday evening. Knowing how to dance is not necessary since the caller prompts the moves and guides the dancers. A workshop is given at 7pm prior to the dance to learn basic terminology and some of the dance moves. Pack plenty of smiles!

This will be a special celebration since it is Swingin' Tern Dances' 42nd Anniversary!&nbsp; And yes, there will be cake!
