Obituary: Stanley J. Rys, 96, of Middletown
Rys was born in Middletown and served with the U.S. Navy in World War II.

I graduated from Naugatuck Valley Community College, where I took my first journalism class. I have a bachelor's degree in journalism from Southern Connecticut State University. I worked for the Connecticut Post and Voices newspaper.
