Since I was 11, I knew I wanted to be a reporter and a have been lucky enough to have made a career of it.

I've worked for a variety of local and regional newspapers, national magazines, and even banged out a few books.

I'm by nature nosy, which is why I'm ideally suited to my chosen profession. I've been writing for Patch since its founding in Southeastern Connecticut and I'm thrilled to be the Editor of The Lymes.

New London Fire Fighters quickly extinguished a small kitchen fire at a home in New London on Monday.

[UPDATED] New London Streets Closed Due To Flooding Now Clear

Heavy rains caused a number of streets in New London to flood. Pumps were activated to handle the problem. Most streets were drained and passable about an hour after the Police Department notified the public of the closures.
