Jeannette is a lifelong Arlington County resident and Founder of the No Killing Deer in Arlington. No Killing Deer in Arlington is dedicated to stopping Arlington, Virginia from sharpshooting deer in February 2026.

After the 23% deer population decline, from 290 deer in 2021 to 222 deer in 2025, the Arlington County Department of Natural Resources hired Wildlife Resources, LLC to slaughter deer. Arlington County did not reconsider and revaluate the cost and effectiveness of a humane, science-based plan that benefits deer, humans, and Arlington’s ecosystem.

We demand humane, science-based, effective, non-lethal solutions for Arlington Deer.
