A man's police connections don't get him anywhere and a young statue fan pleads on YouTube for the return of a beloved lawn ornament in this week's "OMGs from NJ PDs."

Watch as a black bear is tranquilized and rescued from a tree in East Brunswick
The Division of Recreation, Parks and Community Service was called to remove a bear from a tree, Monday.
The East Brunswick Township Council will meet at 8 p.m. in the Municipal Court Room.
The bear was first spotted on the front yard of a Main Street residence this morning.
The township food drive will run Monday through Friday. Food collected will be given to township residents in need and to M.C.F.O.O.D.S.
