Spiritual Reflection in THE 222’s Moss Sculpture Garden, with “potluck” dinner following.

What Moves You? is a contemplative experience of shared spiritual reflection upon a&nbsp;sacred text.
Join us the 2nd&nbsp;Wednesday of every month&nbsp;at 5:30 p.m. as leaders from different faith traditions within Sonoma County guide us based on the practice of Lectio Divina, or “Divine Reading.” We
 will hear a sacred text from the leader’s tradition in a contemplative 
manner, three times through. After each time, we will share responses 
and insights.
November 12 Presenter: Rev. Daniel London, PhD
The Rev. Daniel London, PhD, serves as the rector of Christ Episcopal
 Church in Eureka CA. He earned his doctorate in Christian Spirituality 
at the Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley and is a certified Forest 
Therapy Guide. He is the author of Theodicy and Spirituality in the Fourth Gospel&nbsp;and Spiritual Friendship Distilled.
 He served as a Visiting Scholar at the College of St. John the 
Evangelist in Auckland New Zealand and teaches courses for Church 
Divinity School of the Pacific and Bexley Seabury Seminary.&nbsp;He serves as
 the Ecumenical and Interreligious Officer for the Episcopal&nbsp;Diocese of 
Northern California and lives in the Transfiguration House in Eureka CA 
with his wife Ashley London Bacchi and their two Yorkies, Seabury and 
Gubbio.

From the acclaimed director of The Taste of Cherry (Winner Palm D’or at Cannes) comes Abbas Kiarostami’s latest masterpiece, The Wind Will Carry Us.
 A filmmaker from Tehran travels to a remote mountain village secretly 
planning to record a local ritual ceremony surrounding an old dying 
woman. Upon arrival, his crew is met by Farzad, a young boy from the 
town who at first becomes their guide but ultimately becomes their 
informant on the fate of the old woman. Convincing the locals that he 
and his crew are archaeologists looking for buried treasure, the 
filmmaker attempts to befriend them, with mixed results. As the rustling
 wind, golden light and deep shadows of the village cast an alluring 
spell, the deathwatch drags on and the woman stubbornly clings to life, 
leaving the crew impatient. Evocative and haunting, The Wind Will Carry Us
 is constructed with Kiarostami’s trademark soulful serenity, creating 
an extraordinarily beautiful and moving film. (1999, 118 minutes)$20

This Grammy®-nominated early music
 ensemble is an energized free-spirited group specializing in string 
music of the seventeenth through twentieth centuries. Though based in 
the SF Bay Area, they perform throughout the US.
Their program “Smash Hits of the 80’s” (that the 1680’s) 
will present emotionally charged works from a decade that profoundly

Intimate GrandeurFor over three decades, Berkeley native Sanford Dole, 222’s
 Choral Music Programmer, has been producing concerts with a variety of 
the area’s top musicians under the banner Sanford Dole Ensemble. For the
 first time at THE 222, he is joined by a group of talented vocal
 artists in a program titled “Intimate Grandeur.” Featuring large-scale 
works for eight-part choirs, this program will be sung in the intimate
