Bio
I went to high school down the road in Winters.
My first reporting job was with the Winters Express shortly after I graduated from CSU Monterey Bay with a degree in Communications and a minor in Spanish. Once I realized I loved the job, I enrolled in the New Media Journalism program at Northwestern University, where I got a Masters degree.
I'm happily married to my wife, Bianca. We have a very cool baby boy named Noah. I also enjoy playing music, reading, camping and sipping coffee (and on special occasions, whisky).
Here are a few things us Patch editors like to put on the table, for the sake of transparency:
Politics
I’m a registered Democrat but am always prepared to vote otherwise, and have done so many times in the past.
Religion
I'm Christian, but have not been baptized and am more concerned with my own personal approach to life than with the salvation of strangers. Call me a cliché, but I’d say I’m more spiritual than I am religious.
