A 2007 graduate of Springfield College, I took over as the local editor for Wilmington Patch at the beginning of 2011. Prior to starting with Patch, I was an award-winning staff writer at Neighborhood News, Inc., based in Manchester, New Hampshire. At Neighborhood News, I covered board meetings, high school sports and anything that was interesting in the community.
I grew up in a small town in southern New Hampshire, and have always loved writing. Since the first day of classes at Springfield College (where I double-majored in Communications/Sports Journalism and English), I knew that I wanted to cover sports and news. When I am not covering my Patch towns, I love watching the Red Sox, Patriots, Celtics and Bruins, along with just about any sport that's on television.
