Toni Nelson is a neighborhood advocate who administers Capo Cares -- a 501 (c) (4) non-profit civic organization for those who share a common interest in enhancing life in the little slice of paradise called Capistrano Beach. Capo Cares exists to ensure that the beauty, aesthetics, safety and responsible development of the Capo Beach community are maintained and enhanced by elected officials. Originally from Canada, Toni is a retired CPA/finance executive who has lived in Southern California for 30 years. She is a community volunteer and an avid gardener who regularly advocates for beautification projects in her community. A member of the Dana Point Historical Society, Toni is particularly passionate about preserving the cultural heritage of Capo Beach and preserving our precious beach resources. She is a weekly volunteer at Mission San Juan Capistrano and a Board member of Dana Point Woman's Club. She occasionally works with similar groups in San Clemente and San Juan on common civic projects. Please visit www.facebook.com/capocares.
