PHOTOS: I Left My Heart on Broad Street

Since I was 12 years-old I've loved everything that encompasses journalism. While studying journalism at Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI., I freelanced for a local Milwaukee magazine called Aqui Milwaukee. After graduating I interned at the Yakima Herald-Republic in Washington state covering a variety of issues.
I absolutely love to shop and have a long-time love affair with shoes, which is why Greendale is a perfect place for me to be. Southridge Mall and the downtown village stores should keep me occupied during my spare time.
Your Beliefs
At Patch, we promise always to report the facts as objectively as possible and otherwise adhere to the principles of good journalism. However, we also acknowledge that true impartiality is impossible because human beings have beliefs. So in the spirit of simple honesty, our policy is to encourage our editors to reveal their beliefs to the extent they feel comfortable. This disclosure is not a license for you to inject your beliefs into stories or to dictate coverage according to them. In fact, the intent is the opposite: we hope that the knowledge that your beliefs are on the record will cause you to be ever mindful to write, report and edit in a fair, balanced way. And if you ever see evidence that we failed in this mission, please let us know.
Politics
I tend to vote for the candidate and not for a party. Before casting my vote I like to research the candidates.

Religion
I was raised Catholic and went to all Catholic schools. I'm open to learning about all religions. Theology courses were always my favorite in school.

Local Hot-Button Issues
So far I learned that the historic downtown village and Southridge Mall means a lot to the Greendale community. I'm looking forward to learning about all the issues.
