Walt Belcher, Neighbor

After more than 35 years as a reporter, columnist and feature writer for The Tampa Tribune, I have become a performing storyteller. You can catch my stories at open mic nights in the Safety Harbor Art & Music Center. Lived in Safety Harbor 10 years now. Originally from Greenville, SC. Married 28 years to Deborah Belcher (she volunteered at the Safety Harbor Library. We have two sons and five grandchildren (all living in the area). I write a column for Boomerz Magazine which is published monthly in Pasco and Northern Pinellas counties. My stories are humorous accounts of growing up in the South and Florida Folk Tales.
