• Mountain Ridge High School students swing into the Season of Giving by collecting donations for burn victims (fox13now.com) — Herriman’s Mountain Ridge High School students are spending three weeks raising money for the Be Brave Baylee Foundation, which supports burn victims, as part of the Jordan School District’s annual holiday fundraiser. Teens are knocking on doors, doing odd jobs, and even taking pies to the face, all hoping to beat last year’s impressive $144,000 total and rally the community around local giving.
   

• Teen's windshield shattered by object thrown from passing car in Herriman (kutv.com) — A Herriman teen’s windshield was shattered by a rock-filled cup thrown from a passing vehicle on Emmaline Drive, leaving her shaken and off the road for now. Herriman police suspect local juveniles, are working school channels for leads, and a concerned father has launched a reward and is urging families to talk with teens about dangerous road behavior.
