• Utah County elementary school 'skills coach' found with 2000 child porn images (fox13now.com) — A Utah County elementary school staff member was arrested after investigators reportedly found thousands of child sexual abuse images on his computer during a search of his Payson home. The Springville school where he worked has placed him on unpaid leave while the case proceeds, and authorities say the material dates back many years.
   

• Payson man charged with threatening to shoot governor, other state leaders (ksl.com) — A 69-year-old Payson resident has been charged with making a terroristic threat after allegedly calling state offices and threatening to shoot Utah’s governor and other top leaders. Court documents say he has a history of harassing calls and a prior conviction for similar behavior, and troopers have requested a mental health screening following his latest arrest.
