• USU Extension kicks off 2026 with Price Beef Field Day Jan. 9 (castlecountryradio.com) — Richfield ranchers may remember that last year’s statewide USU beef workshop was held in town; for 2026, the southeast regional Beef Field Day is set for Jan. 9 at USU Eastern in Price. The day-long session will cover cattle marketing, drought strategies, nutrition supplementation, and reproductive efficiency, with a $20 registration fee that includes lunch and a student discount.
