• Frustrated Salt Lake County residents seek referendum on 14% tax increase (ksl.com) — A Riverton resident is helping lead a countywide push to overturn Salt Lake County’s newly approved 14% property tax increase, which would add about $65 a year to a $638,000 home. Organizers are seeking a 2026 ballot referendum and, if approved for circulation, will have 45 days to gather roughly 45,000 verified signatures from across the county.
