• Prep football: Bonneville introduces Roy alum and Royals OC Connor McGuire as next head football coach (standard.net) — Roy football fans will recognize offensive coordinator and Roy High alum Connor McGuire, who’s just been named head football coach at nearby Bonneville High in Washington Terrace. After helping the Royals reach the 5A title game in 2024, he now takes over a struggling Lakers program and says he’s eager to bring energy, leadership, and a fresh vision to Weber County football.
