• Best of the Best: 2025 Daily Herald All-Valley Girls Soccer Team (heraldextra.com) — Springville soccer fans will be proud to see Coach Todd Hollingshead named Coach of the Year and several Red Devils players honored on the 2024 All-Valley girls soccer teams. Local standouts Sage Conrad, Adalie Dodd, Halle Hall, and goalkeeper Caroline Penrod all earned recognition for leading Springville deep into the state playoffs against top Utah Valley competition. 
• YouTube sensation among those called to church advisory council for young men (deseret.com) — Local Latter-day Saint Anthony R. Sweat, of the Hobble Creek 15th Ward in Springville, has been called to the Young Men General Advisory Council, joining 13 others from around Utah and the world. The council will support global youth programs for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, drawing on members’ diverse professional and spiritual backgrounds, including several with strong ties to Utah County.
