Ezra Miller, 'The Flash' Actor, Charged With Burglary In VT: Report

STAMFORD, VT — Ezra Miller, the embattled star of "The Flash" and "Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore," has been charged with felony burglary after Vermont State Police say they stole several bottles of alcohol from a residence in Stamford, according to a report.

According to a report by Variety.com citing a now-deleted Vermont State Police news release, officers responded to a burglary complaint just before 6 p.m. on May 1. Police said the alcohol was taken while the homeowners weren't there, Variety reported.

After investigating and reviewing surveillance footage, authorities charged Miller with felony burglary of an unoccupied dwelling. Miller was issued a citation on Aug. 7 and will appear in court on Sept. 26.

The burglary is the latest in a series of incidents involving Miller.

In March, the actor was charged with disorderly conduct and harassment after they became agitated at a Hawaii karaoke bar. Police said Miller yelled obscenities and eventually grabbed the microphone from a 23-year-old woman who was singing. Miller later lunged at a 32-year-old man playing darts, police said.

A month later, Miller was at a house gathering in Pāhoa, Hawaii. When they were asked to leave, Miller threw a chair and hit a 26-year-old woman on the forehead, leaving her with a half-inch cut, police said.

In June, a Massachusetts mother and her 12-year-old child were granted a protective order against Miller after they were accused of inappropriately touching the child who, like Miller, is nonbinary.

Finally, Miller was been accused of using "cult-like and psychologically manipulative, controlling behavior," "violence, intimidation" and a "pattern of corrupting a minor" to groom a teenage girl from the age of 12.

Miller owns a farm in Vermont, where he reportedly houses a 25-year-old mother and her three young children, Rolling Stone reported. The property also acts as an unlicensed cannabis farm.

After appearing in several films for Warner Bros. and DC Films as the Flash, Miller stars in the upcoming standalone film "The Flash," due out in June 2023. Though Warner Bros. last week axed the nearly completed "Batgirl" film, the studio has suggested it remains committed to releasing "The Flash."

In an earnings report last week, David Zaslav, chief executive of Warner Bros. Discovery referenced "The Flash."

"We have seen 'The Flash,' 'Black Adam' and 'Shazam 2.' We are very excited about them," Zaslav said. "We think they are terrific, and we think we can make them even better."

Representatives for Warner Bros. didn't respond to messages from The Associated Press on Monday.
