VT Teen Who Threatened School Charged With Domestic Terrorism: Report

Lake Region Union High School in Orleans was closed Friday as authorities investigated the threat, according to a report.

ORLEANS, VT — A Vermont teenager who police say threatened his high school on social media is now facing a domestic terrorism charge, according to a report.

The teenager, whose name was not released, appeared in court Friday after police said he made threats toward Lake Region Union High School as well as specific students, WCAX reported.

The school was closed Friday as police investigated the threats, according to the station.
