VT's $336M Powerball Jackpot Winner Still Hasn't Come Forward
Lottery officials said the winner may just be taking their time due to the holiday weekend, according to a report.

VERMONT — It was a first for Vermont: Recently, a Middlebury gas station sold the state's first-ever Powerball jackpot ticket worth $336 million.
A week later, no one has come forward to claim the massive prize, according to a report.
The winning ticket was sold at Middlebury Short Stop. The winning numbers in June 29th's drawing were 8, 40, 49, 58 and 63. The Powerball was 14.

Vermont Department of Liquor and Lottery Deputy Commissioner Andrew Collier told WXAC it's possible the winner may just be taking their time.
"I would assume that due to the holiday weekend, that there’s a slight delay there. Plus, I would hope that whoever won it is consulting with attorneys and financial planners and I’m guessing that’s what some of the delay is," Collier told WXAC.
