• The veins of the city: Iroquois Avenue waterline job wraps up (essexreporter.com) — Iroquois Avenue’s aging waterline in Essex Junction has been fully replaced, improving water quality, pressure, and fire protection while reducing the risk of disruptive breaks for neighbors. City officials say this $1.28 million project caps a decade of patch repairs and sets the stage for next season’s work on Pearl Street, Railroad Avenue, sidewalks, and other targeted upgrades. 
• Essex resident to source cookies for unhoused youth statewide this holiday (essexreporter.com) — An Essex Junction resident is again leading a homemade cookie drive, this year aiming to deliver treats to unhoused youth in shelters and motels across all of Vermont. Locals can bake homemade, no-raisin cookies and drop them at participating co-ops and markets by Dec. 21–22, helping brighten the holidays for kids while involving their own families in simple, hands-on volunteering.
