• Suspect officially arrested in connection to Fairfax shooting (mychamplainvalley.com) — A Fairfax resident has been arrested and jailed without bail after a non-fatal shooting on Fletcher Road that police say stemmed from a domestic situation. Two people were injured but are expected to recover, and the suspect faces multiple serious charges, including aggravated domestic assault, reckless endangerment, and attempted first-degree murder. Authorities are withholding the victims’ names while the case proceeds.
