• FY27 budget trims hit Selectboard target; projected tax increase dips below $45 (miltonindependent.com) — Milton homeowners are looking at an estimated FY27 municipal tax increase of about $45 a year on a $350,000 home after the Selectboard ordered 1.5% cuts across all departments. Town officials trimmed expenses and slightly raised projected grand list growth, but say loan payments, contracts, and insurance are still driving much of the remaining 4.9% budget hike headed to voters in March.
